We were initially referred to this client from another contact in the industry. They were having difficulty with the design for the landscaping given the sloping block. The project wasn’t local to us, but decided to see if we could help.
I think we came up with a strong design for this one. The brief was for something quite grand and impactful for the front yard as it was such a large space. The rear needed to make use of the small space and be very maintenance friendly. The large wrap around deck increased the size of the large covered alfresco and helped eliminate the steep drop from the rear of the house.
Drainage was a significant part of the overall design given how much lower the house is from the road. We are pleased to say that the system put in place has stood up to everything thrown at it to date!

We engaged DSE Landscapes in March 2020 to do a major landscaping job in Cherrybrook following a knock down rebuild. The project was very complex as it required a significant amount of retaining walls due to the general slope of the block and a significant drop at the front & rear of the premises. The design also included a rear deck and an extension of our driveway to give additional parking paces down the side of the house. We obtained 3 quotes and although DSE Landscapes were not the cheapest they offered a lot more bang for our buck (including replacing & raising of our old colour bond fence and installation of a full underground water system). The team members were on site for nearly 3 months and were always very professional and friendly. Although we had a basic design plan, Daniel came up with some additional concepts that really enhanced the final result.
