Another steep and challenging site for us!

We were engaged to finish off this new build on this steep site. The clients had a basic concept of what they wanted to achieve and realistic budget to achieve their vision.

Limited access meant we needed be clever with material selection to get the most bang for buck. Timber sleepers for the stairs and retaining in the rear was the obvious choice. Using the already large amounts of bush rock on site for the rest was an easy choice.

We created raised planted boxes in the front and rear to help counteract the poor soil quality and depth. This allowed for more exotic plantings and would ensure greater success of the garden long term.

We were able to utilise the existing rock formations and extreme elevation changes to create many focal points and places the sit and enjoy the garden.
