The brief – Mykonos in Sydney! The client had a definite vision for this one. They wanted to bring some of their recent Greek Island holiday back to Sydney. The Porphyry crazy paving, the white rendered walls, the crystal-clear pool, the mature Olive trees all scream Greece! We worked closely with the builder and client to bring this concept to life.
The design evolved throughout the construction phase with new design elements added almost weekly. Breeze blocks, fire pits, fishponds, sandstone blocks, and even chickens were all curve balls thrown at us along the way. We had so much fun on this project, bringing together what at times felt like an eclectic mess. I think you will agree that it all came together spectacularly, completely justifying the client’s vision and ideas! We have created an Oasis in the heart of Randwick!
